Limited Edition Prints by Edgar A. Batzell, Who Was Who in American Art

A collection of Fine Art prints by Artist Edgar A. "Ted" Batzell, now listed in
"Who Was Who in American Art". These are museum quality prints offered here
by his daughter Jean Batzell Fitzgerald. Each print was limited to 500 and
were printed approximately 15 years ago.

Now listed in "Who Was Who in American Art"

   and a four-year fine arts scholarship to Syracuse University
   where he received a Master's in Fine Art in 1939.

- Augusta Hazzard fellowship from Syracuse University for
    foreign study which was taken at Art Students League,
    New York due to the war;
- Munson Williams Proctor Institute - two Purchase Awards;
- Schenectady Museum Purchase Prize:
- Upper Hudson Regional;
- Brick Store Museum Maine Regional - Best in Show.

An employee of General Electric's art department, he retired as an art director in 1977 to Kennebunkport, Maine where he and his wife
Elsie had a small gallery in the front part of their home. They both
conducted classes and workshops. My father was a member of the
Art Guild of the Kennebunks through which he continued to exhibit
his works with recognition throughout the years. After he passed
away I was touched when one of the artists in the area came to visit and said that my Dad was one of the nicest people he had ever known.
